Found Three Different Problems

Some phones show high percentage but batteries degraded internally. Chemical aging software can’t detect.
Others have aftermarket batteries with fake chips reporting wrong data. Show perfect health but Chinese knockoff batteries inside.
Worst ones are water damaged. Corrosion messes with sensors, software shows good health while battery actually dying.
How I Test Every Phone Now
Full real-world battery test takes about three hours per phone. Pain in the ass but saves customer relationships.
Charge to hundred percent overnight. Next morning start usage simulation.
Stream video for hour. Make calls for thirty minutes. Use camera, GPS, apps for another hour. Check battery percentage.
Good iPhone 11 battery should be around sixty-five to seventy percent after this test. Anything below fifty percent gets rejected.
The Expensive Lesson About Trust
Replacing Martinez’s twenty phones cost me $800 profit plus shipping. But keeping good customer worth way more than short term money.
